| Water to Leaf Ratio: | 8.5g gr of Leaf in 475 ml of water | |
| Brewing Method: | Boiling water - Aria Teapot | |
| Wet Leaf Appearence: | Reddish green leaf about grade 2-3 | |
| 1st Steep | 2 minutes, No astringency, mellow, nutty like water chestnuts. Aroma is also like water chestnuts. | |
| 2nd Steep | 1 minute -Nutty flavor reminds me of deep winter with roasted chestnuts. Slight hint of greenness. | |
| 3rd Steep | 2-minutes, flavor is subsiding. Nutty woodsy flavor is getting weak. | |
| 4th Steep | ||
| Subsequent Steeps | ||
| Conclusion | This tea held up well to many steeps when brewed Gongfu style. This is the second Liu An I have tried, the first was from Imperial Tea Court and was moldy tasting, this is much better. | |
